Night Lounge in the Church

On October 14th join us for an open air lounge concert overlooking downtown LA on the gorgeous terrace of the Historic St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Church! Listen to blues, lo-fi, lounge, indie-folk, all performed by contemporary Ukrainian artists, and enjoy delicious drinks and treats in the unique atmosphere that Post Angeles knows how to do best.

“Night Lounge at the Church” will be a benefit concert that will allow us to collect funds for our 14th shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Enjoy the night and party for a good cause!

VSYUDISVOYA

“Vsyudisvoya” is one of the top ukrainian artists. Since 2013 she has been performing with her husband - Vova zi Lvova. Since last year she has lived in Los Angeles, USA. Within the past 7 months she has participated in dozens of charitable concerts supporting Ukraine. She has released 2 solo albums - “Dobroalbum” (2020) and “Svogo tata dochka” (2021). She is an author of most of her own songs. Ulyana is a unique artist that is known for her wide range and a light clear timber.

«Всюдисвоя» - відома українська виконавиця. З 2013 року виступає в дуеті зі своїм чоловіком репером Вовою зі Львова. Останні вісім років живе в США, в місті Лос  Анджелес. Протягом останніх семи місяців взяла участь в десятках благодійних  заходах на підтримку  України. Випустила два сольні студійні альбоми - "Доброальбом" (2020) та "Свого тата дочка" (2021). Авторка більшості виконуваних пісень. Уляна є особливою артисткою, яка відрізняється своєю щирістю та унікальним  кришталево-чистим тембром голосу.

АSYA & EUGENE GORSKI

Asya Gorska is a Ukrainian-born singer. She sing in pop, jazz, and blues styles, and has several singles. Asya was born and grew up in Mykolaiv, worked and lived in Kyiv for ten years.For the last ten years, resides and works in Los Angeles. She is also a choreographer and director of the Ukrainian dance ensemble “Chervona Kalyna”.

Eugene Gorsky was born and raised in Mykolaiv, Ukraine worked and lived in Kyiv for ten years.He first had aspirations of being classical pianist. However, it didn't take long after he saw Chuck Berry playing "Johnny B Good", at that moment he knew rock‘n’roll was what he wanted to pursue. He's gotten the opportunity to share the stage with artist like Robben Ford, 'The Animals' and 'Nazareth.' Eugene Gorsky has played at the most prestigious LA venues as well as toured around the US, Ukraine, Poland, released 2 solo albums as an independent artist, and opened his record label called “Proud2beloud”.

At this particularly difficult time for Ukraine, Asya and Eugene actively participate in many charity events in support of her native country.

Ася Горська – українська співачка, яка співає в стилях поп, джаз, блюз, і має кілька синглів. Ася народилася і виросла в Миколаєві, десять років працювала і жила в Києві. Останні десять років мешкає і працює в Лос-Анджелесі. Вона також є хореографом та керівником українського ансамблю танцю «Червона калина».

Євген Горський народився і виріс у Миколаєві, працював і жив у Києві протягом десяти років. Спочатку він мріяв стати класичним піаністом. Однак невдовзі після того, як побачив, як Чак Беррі грає «Johnny B Good», він зрозумів, що рок-н-рол — це те, чим він хоче займатися. Він виступав на одній сцені з такими виконавцями, як Роббен Форд, «The Animals» і «Nazareth», грав на найпрестижніших майданчиках Лос-Анджелеса та гастролював по США, Україні, Польщі. Випустив 2 сольні альбоми як незалежний виконавець і відкрив свій лейбл «Proud2beloud».

У цей особливо важкий для України час Ася та Євген активно беруть участь у багатьох благодійних акціях на підтримку рідної країни.

YULIA

Upon graduating high school Yulia moved to Canada to continue her education, after which she moved to New York where she received her degree in the History of Arts. Shortly after she moved to Los Angeles, where she tried her hand at singing starting with smaller venues.

In 2017 she wrote her first EP Hear Me, which she released in 2019. Since then she has released 5 albums and 3 singles. Since the beginning of the war Yulia started to write songs in Ukrainian which she will perform at our concert.

Yulia’s music is romantic jazz lo-fi with a strong lyric component. Yulia writes all of her texts and music herself.

Після закінчення школи в Україні Юлія вирушила на навчання в Канаду, а звідки - в Нью-Йорк, де здобула освіту в галузі історії мистецтв. Невдовзі вона переїхала до Лос Анджелеса, де вперше спробувала себе як співачку на сценах невеличких клубів.

В 2017 році написала свій перший ЕР Hear Me, який випустила в 2019 році. Відтоді вона зробила 8 англомовних релізів, серед яких три - сингли. Після початку війни в Україні Юлія почала писати пісні українською, деякі з яких представить на нашому концерті.

Музика Юлії - це романтичний джазовий lo-fi з потужною ліричною складовою. Слова та музику для своїх пісень вона пише сама.
