On March 7th 2022 LAist published the first article about our work that began at the St. Andrew's Ukrainian Church. Severyn Mohylyak, the founder of what came to be known as Post Angeles, started collecting aid that filled his entire apartment and storage unit, until it grew into the major effort that it is today! His father is a surgeon in Lviv, Ukraine, and dozens of volunteers from the community were joining us at St. Andrew's Church to help pack boxes that were being sent to the hospital where Severyn's father is the lead surgeon. For many months, all of the shipments were being sent to this hospital that was turned into a warehouse to receive and distribute the humanitarian aid. Then we opened a second official volunteer center, Post Angeles Lviv, as our main delivery and distribution hub which has been working around the clock since they opened to get our aid directly to the vetted organizations and into the hands of the people in need in Ukraine.

We look forward to continuing our efforts in the new year alongside our incredible team and community! Thank you all for being with us since the very beginning and standing with us every step of the way. Glory to Ukraine!
